Show jumping at home
After what can only be described as a weather-eventful year -one cancelled due to snow, one curtailed due to wind and rain, and one in blazing sunshine, we have finished our show jumping competition year. I hope you all had fun, and whilst we head into winter, I can remind you the Area 7 Winter Qualifier (members only) will be at Keysoe on 26th Jan.
Of course a big thank you to Tom Fray for designing and building the course, to all the members who came out and helped set up, run on the day, and clear away, and finally to Ruth and Tania for organising.
Congratulations to all who took part , I have great pleasure in announcing the results ….

Arena trec results for 21st Oct 2018

The times for Sunday’s competition are on the event page on the calendar as well as on our Facebook page
If you are unfamiliar with Grange Farm, please park in the Jumpcross parking field on the left of the drive, before getting to the car park. (Do not park in the carpark.) The competition is being held in the sunken arena (close to the parking area) and there will be a warm up area marked out alongside on the grass. Please do not park close to the warm up area – there is plenty of space on the field.
Please arrive in good time as we will not be able to wait for competitors, and keep an eye on what is happening in the arena. If there are some withdrawals on the day, we may be ahead of the timetable. The collecting ring steward will be able to advise you. Please clear up after your horse and leave your dogs at home. Toilets are available in the main yard. Ask for directions if you are not sure.
There will be a catering van on site close to the secretary’s base. Collect your number from the secretary and return to her for results and rosettes. Please don’t hassle our lovely scorer – she will get results out as soon as she can!
There are two new obstacles this year – the ticket punch which is a TrecGB official obstacle and the ‘Push through’ which is a Wittering special. Details of how to ride these will be posted on the board in the secretary’s base.
Please remember to thank our lovely volunteers who are giving up their time and we hope you have an enjoyable day!
