DESCRIPTION:Booking details here\n\n\n\nTEST RIDING/FLATWORK CLINIC (PLUS\, TEST WRITING TRAINING)\n\n\nsubsidised BRC Area 7 Training grant\n\n\n\n\n\nWith Julie Corrigan BD and BE Judge\n\n\n\n\n\nJulie is a regular trainer for our mentoring supporting and encouraging our riders. She has taught all ages and judged tests at all levels. She would love to help all of you\, whatever level you are riding at\, achieve those higher marks in a test and improve your horse’s way of going.\n\n\n\n\n\nYou will have a 30-minute private lesson with Julie to ride a test of your choice from the following list\n\n\n\n\n\nIntro 1\, Intro 2\, Prelim 1\, Prelim 2\, Novice 1\, Novice 2 and then have feedback and instruction. If you prefer not to ride a test but want to work on specific areas\, then that is also fine.\n\n\n\n\n\nCost is £15 for Area 7 members and £30 for non-members which includes arena hire\, test sheet and Julie’s time and experience\n\n\n\n\n\nAlternatively\, have you thought about dressage writing? Why not have a go without worrying about it being a competition! DESCRIPTION:Pearl Naylor Clinic \nSaturday 28th February 2026 \nAt \nGrange Farm Equestrian Centre\, Wittering Grange\, Wansford \nBy kind permission of Robin and Di Dunlop \nPearl Naylor is an FEI Level I accredited coach and over the past 2 decades has been Show Organiser\, Show Secretary and Chef d’Equipe for the Botswana National Equestrian Team. She now lives in Spalding having run her own  Equestrian Centre for 6 years and as a rider herself has represented Botswana internationally in France\, Namibia and South Africa in both dressage and show jumping. \nWe have held a private clinic with Pearl and the riders involved very much enjoyed their flatwork session. DESCRIPTION:Franklin Balls were developed in Germany by Dr Eric Franklin\, originally to help sports people but they have now been developed to help Equestrians.  The balls are different sizes and shapes\, either filled with air or water\, which are used in different ways\, for example under seat bones\, thighs and armpits to help riders develop their balance\, core strength\, straightness and suppleness. They help identify areas riders need to work on\, and also really show how the rider influences the horse’s way of going.
