Class 1                Intro A (2008) Open/Restricted * Restricted section is for horse & rider combinations who have not been placed 1st or 2nd in any dressage competition.  Please state on your entry form if Restricted or Open section.

Class 2                Intro C (2016)

 Class 3                Prelim 12 (2005) Open/Restricted *Restricted section is for horse & rider combinations who have not been placed 1st or 2nd in any dressage competition at prelim level.  Please state on your entry form if Restricted or Open section.

Class 4                Prelim 2 (2016)

 Class 5                Novice 27 (2007)

 Class 6                PYO –Novice 37A (2017) Elementary 43 (2006)/ Elementary 53 (2007)/Medium 69(2005)

More than one test can be ridden; Please state on entry form the test(s) you would like to perform; Class may be split if entries are large

 

 

 

ROSETTES:         To 6th Place (Rosette to best junior in each class if not placed)

ENTRY FEES:      £10 Members & Rutland riding club members; £14 Non-members; Late entries £3 extra if space NO ENTRY WITHOUT PAYMENT

ENTRIES:            ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY via the link on the competitions page at  www.witteringacademy.com                           Please note the non-refundable admin charge of £1.50. NO NUMBERS PROVIDED; please use 2 bridle or saddle numbers or a bib.

                                        

 

CLOSING DATE: Sunday 19TH February (Late entries until Tuesday 21st if space)

TIMES:               Times will be available on www.witteringacademy.com and Facebook from Thursday 23rd February, 8pm and through the online entry link

 

Classes will start at 9.30 although we retain the right to alter this due to weather conditions        

 

 

All classes and warm-up are on all weather surfaces

Attendance is subject to the COVID-19 restrictions at the time and all participants must adhere to the WARC COVID-19 guidance. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE FEELING UNWELL • Ensure you park a safe distance from others. • Practice social distancing while spectating and purchasing/eating refreshments • Do not go onto the Livery Yard area (unless to use the facilities)

 

 

This competition will be run under Wittering Academy Riding Club rules (hard hats with chin straps are required), entry into the event signifies acceptance of the rules (copy on website). Entry also signifies agreement to be photographed by the official photographer(s) if present. All reasonable precautions taken regarding Health and Safety, but WARC accept no liability for any loss, damage or accident to persons, animals or property however caused.
Non BRC or PC members should ensure they have valid insurance to cover both themselves and their mounts.

Your Personal Information that you supply to us may be used in several ways to facilitate your WARC event participation. It should be noted that we are affiliated to the British Horse Society as a British Riding Club. BRC Area 7 Horse Trials qualifier 2024 30th June at LandS eventing As part of British Riding Riding,   we're the most Northely club with Stevenage and Shillington down the most southerly, From Bozeat in the west to Cambridge in the east , we're part of Area 7. There is a Summer season 1st-April and a winter season from 1st October.   WARC will pay the pre-entry fees (around £12 per class ) to BRC and members enter via team manager. Once schedules are out, team mangers will organize entries   ( as a team member you will also be an individual ). The qualifiers are run by clubs within Area 7, and a pre-requiste is for every team or 3 individual entries we will provide 1 helper.  This might be to help set up the course/dressage board, or on the day stewarding, arena party etc. Without this valuable help, these competitions cannot run. Competitions are run under the BRC rules and the rulebook can be download from https://www.bhs.org.uk/british-riding-clubs/brc-handbook/ The horse trials will be run by an area7 committee on 30th June

Trec Training Clinic Saturday 15th June AT GRANGE FARM EQUESTRIAN CENTRE, WITTERING, NEAR STAMFORD By kind permission of Mr and Mrs R Dunlop   Experience the adventure of TREC under the excellent tutoring of Karen Barker and Rachael Finch.   We will have 10 obstacles for you to try, each will be explained in full before you start that obstacle.   Sessions will be in groups of 4, running concurrently with each of the instructors. We will split groups into in-hand and ridden, and then ridden (where possible) into complete beginner and previous knowledge/experience.   Session 1 starts at 10am with 45 minutes with first instructor, swapping over at 10.45am to have another 45 minutes with second instructor.   Session 2 starts at 11.30am with 45 minutes with first instructor, swapping over at 12.15pm to have another 45 minutes with second instructor.   Session 3 starts at 1.30pm with 45 minutes with first instructor, swapping over at 2.15pm to have another 45 minutes with second instructor. Cost will be £17.50 per person Bookings can be made online or by emailing trec@witteringacademy.com  Priority will be given to WARC members. For online bookings a fee of £1.50 is automatically added to your order. Entries close Friday 7th June 5pm (late entries will be accepted subject to space) and times will be emailed by Wednesday 12th June.   Please indicate when booking if you are in-hand or ridden and if ridden experience level.
